This brochure explains the means that could allow the establishment of sustainable cities such as integrating water resources protection in urban planning, improving operational efficiency of water utilities and monitoring water supply and sanitation in the Arab region. In addition, it sheds the light on the challenges that the Arab cities are facing such as: water quality deterioration due to improper wastewater management and poor urban planning and natural disasters.
