The study concluded that issues pertaining to women, peace, and security were addressed through a legislative framework in the examined countries. Nevertheless, this framework lacked key components for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, particularly both pillars of prevention and recovery. The study also highlighted inherent weaknesses in tools monitoring legislative compliance, particularly with regard to parliamentarians’ role in supporting the resolution implementation at the national level.
