This workshop aims at demonstrating the different capacity development programs and initiatives ICANN, ISOC, and RIPE NCC deliver and/or collaborate on the 3 organizations are trusted stewards of the open, inclusive, and collaborative Internet model working for the good of the Internet, raising awareness through many means one of which is Capacity Development. Each organization is specialized in certain area(s), and so the workshop will also demonstrate what each organization does, and whom to reach out to for support and help.

This workshop will shed light on the opportunities and impact that digital financial inclusion can have on the Arab region particularly with respect to achieving relevant Sustainable Development Goals and WSIS targets.  The ITU and ESCWA will also shed light on a joint study under development to assess the enabling environment for Digital Financial Inclusion in the Arab region.
