Inland waterway transport (IWT)
Definition:

The movement of goods and/or passengers using IWT vessels, undertaken wholly or partly on navigable inland waterways.
Note: Bunkers and stores supplied to vessels in port are excluded. When an IWT vessel is being carried on another vehicle, only the movement of the carrying vehicle (active mode) is considered.
