Maternal mortality
Definition:

The death of a woman from any cause related to pregnancy that occurs during the pregnancy or within 42 days of the pregnancy’s termination. The termination of a pregnancy can be defined as giving birth (to a stillborn or live infant) or having a miscarriage or an abortion. Late maternal deaths include deaths from obstetric causes that occur after 42 days but within one year of pregnancy termination.
