Total fertility rate
Definition:
The number of children that would be born to a woman if she were to live to the end of her childbearing years (15-49) and if the likelihood of her giving birth to children at any given age were to be the currently-prevailing age-specific fertility rate. It is the total of all the age-specific fertility rates defined over a five-year interval (n).
