ESCWA, the Gulf Cooperation Council Statistical Center (GCC-Stat) and the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) are organizing a subregional workshop on the use of Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) for reporting on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in GCC countries.
Designed for national statistical office representatives, SDG focal points, statisticians, metadata specialists and information technology experts, the workshop shows participants how to customize SDG Data Structure Definitions (DSDs) for national and subregional reporting needs.
Through practical exercises, live demonstrations and interactive sessions, participants use key SDMX tools, including SDG Reference Metadata, the Fusion Metadata Registry (FMR), the ESCWA SDMX Converter, the Eurostat SDMX Converter and the .Stat Suite, to strengthen the exchange, management and dissemination of SDG data in line with international standards.
