This workshop is organized in the framework of the Development Account project entitled "Blockchains for facilitating trade and enhancing competitiveness”, which brings together the five United Nations regional commissions.
The workshop highlights the importance of blockchain technology and its practical applications in trade facilitation and identifies opportunities for adopting it in the Arab region. It aims to build the capacities of customs officers and trade officials in member States to use and localize the blockchain technology in trade.
