ESCWA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and the National Centre for Statistics and Information in Oman, is hosting a workshop to advance Oman Governorates Competitiveness Index. This event highlights recent achievements, builds technical and IT team skills, and ensures the system is fully ready for independent operation by the Ministry.
Participants explore a new policy framework connecting development efforts to competitiveness indicators, review the draft Phase II report, and discuss post-launch support for lasting impact.
