ESCWA, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme - World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Birdlife, is organizing a webinar on SDG indicators 14.1.1a, 14.1.1b, 14.2.1 and 14.5.1 that are less reported in the Arab region.
The main objective of this webinar is to support Arab States in responding to the questionnaire on the sustainable use of oceans, seas and marine resources to support reporting on SDG indicators 14.1.1 and 14.2.1, and the data collection mechanism of SDG 14.5.1 on protected areas and conservation.
