In the framework of REGEND's series of capacity-building workshops for rural women in Chorbane, ESCWA is organizing a workshop on rural development and gender empowerment. The workshop is aimed at enhancing the knowledge of rural woman in Chorbane on the concept of rural development, the available financing programmes targeting rural women and entrepreneurs, the water-energy-food nexus, and the empowerment of rural women in entrepreneurship.
