The Third Joint Ministerial Meeting for Agriculture and Water is being organized by the League of Arab States, in cooperation with the Arab Ministerial Water Council and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development. The meeting is held in partnership with ESCWA and the Food and Agriculture Organization - Regional Office for the Near East FAO-RNE during the 2025 Cairo Water Week.
The goal of the meeting is to strengthen coordination between the agriculture and water sectors by developing and applying practical, sustainable solutions that protect the rights of future generations to water and food.
Participants include ministers and experts from Arab ministries responsible for water and agriculture attend, along with representatives from international and regional organizations. Regional experts also join as observers.
