Within REGEND's series of awareness-raising workshops in Tunisia, ESCWA is organizing a workshop in Ouled Chamekh, Governorate of Mahdia, Tunisia for rural women and young people on the water-energy-food nexus (WEF nexus) and green jobs.
The workshop provides participants with the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of WEF applications and green jobs tailored to the context of Ouled Chamekh. Specific applications such as water desalination, waste-to-energy and food cooling, are discussed and presented to the participants.
