On the sidelines of the sixty-first session of the Commission for Social Development, ESCWA, in cooperation with other United Nations regional commissions, held on 13 February a virtual side event titled "Leaving no one behind at the regional level: Adopting an age-sensitive lens to policymaking".
The event brought together representatives of Governments, civil society, academia and international organizations in an inclusive discussion to identify challenges and achievements in developing and revising age-sensitive policies across world regions.
Tools designed at the regional level to support member States in developing and revising policies on ageing were also showcased.
