In preparation for the United Nations conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Water Action Decade, ESCWA, in collaboration with the Transboundary Water Cooperation Coalition organized a webinar on “Advancing Transboundary Water Cooperation through commitments to the United Nations 2023 Water Conference”.
The webinar on 27 February was a platform to present national and regional initiatives, as well as key actions that demonstrate the commitment of Arab countries to Sustainable Development Goal 6 on water and sanitation.
It also provided details about how to make commitments on transboundary water, what kinds of commitments can be made and why they are useful.
