The second edition of the Arab Mayors Academy, launched in August by ESCWA and UN-Habitat, held the first, second and third round of webinars on 19 August, and on 2 and 16 September, respectively.
The first webinar addressed the nexus between air quality, urban health, and transportation, where experts and mayors shared practical solutions to improve the quality of life in Arab cities. The second webinar discussed how nature-based approaches can help address urban challenges, enhance resilience, and promote healthier and more sustainable cities across the Arab region.
In the third webinar, city leaders and experts shared insights, good practices, and innovative approaches to harnessing smart and sustainable solutions for more resilient and competitive urban futures.
