The Academic Network for Development Dialogue (ANDD), comprised of ESCWA and several prominent universities and educational institutions, launched the third edition of its paper series, titled “Promoting Human Wellbeing and Strengthening Capabilities to Accelerate Sustainable Development in the Arab Region”.
This year, contributors are invited to cover the health-care system, nutrition and food security; or the sustainable management of resources. Papers should identify policy solutions and tools, and make recommendations for creating enabling conditions, based on evidence and good practices, with a view to accelerating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in those areas.
Graduate students (Masters holders and PhD candidates/holders) and early-career UN staff are encouraged to submit their initial proposals by 30 September.
