To develop a plan to implement the digital transformation strategy in Mauritania’s education system, ESCWA and the Ministry of Digital Transition, Innovation and Modernization of Mauritania (MoDTIMA) organized a national workshop on digital transformation in education.
The workshop, held on 24 January, highlighted the main concepts of digital government transformation and its impacts on sustainable development. Examples of best regional and international practices in implementing digital transformation in the education sector were also presented.
In addition, the workshop discussed the current and upcoming initiatives of MoDTIMA and other relevant agencies.
