To support administrative reform efforts and improve the quality of public services while promoting institutional transformation, reinforcing the principles of transparency and accountability, and contributing to the development of governance, participation and gender equality-based indicators, ESCWA and the Jordanian Civil Service Bureau held a workshop on 17 July to strengthen the capacities of government entities in self-assessment, monitoring, and compliance.
Participants explored ways to localize compliance indicators within the diverse local contexts of Arab countries and adapt them to align with each country's administrative reform priorities.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to exchange practical experiences and develop a clearer vision for advancing self-assessment mechanisms that respect national specificities and respond to international standards.
