For the first time in the United Nations, ESCWA received three standards certifications by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The Commission received ISO 9001 which specifies requirements for a quality management system, ISO 14001 which sets out the requirements for an environmental management system, and ISO 26000 which provides guidance on how to behave in a socially responsible way.
