From 27 to 31 March, ESCWA organized in Amman a national training workshop on the rapid evaluation framework for the quantitative analysis in support of evidence-based social protection policymaking.
Employees in the Social Protection Fund branches in Jordan and a delegation from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs attended the workshop. ESCWA presented the analytical framework designed to deliver an assessment of social assistance programmes and identify evidence-based ways to improve them and make data-driven policy recommendations.
The workshop included field visits to the branches of the National Aid Fund, and examined the progress of its work.
