                United Nations Under-Secretary-General and ESCWA Executive Secretary Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim, met last week with the group of the Arab Ambassadors accredited to the United Nations in Geneva, where he briefed them on the current work and activities of ESCWA aimed at establishing economic and social cooperation among its Member States and at achieving regional integration.

                During his visit to Geneva on 20-21 July 2017, the Executive Secretary also met with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Secretary-General Houlin Zhao; the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) Director-General Michael Muller, as well as the International Organization for Immigration (IOM) Director-General William Lacy Swing.
