To review the progress made in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda and the relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ESCWA, UN Habitat and the Municipality of Agadir held from 27 to 29 September a workshop on developing the Voluntary Local Review (VLR) of Agadir.
The workshop focused on training local stakeholders in various areas necessary to build a smart and sustainable city, and included a visit to the sites of the main active projects which will be highlighted in the VLR.
ESCWA also met with local stakeholders to endorse the draft VLR.
