In response to the escalating challenges of inequality and its impact on social and political stability, ESCWA organized an introductory virtual meeting to officially launch its new partnership with the Arab Foundations Forum (AFF) under the Josour initiative and to encourage AFF members to engage in this socially responsible initiative.
The meeting, held on 6 May, introduced the initiative and highlighted its diverse activities and services designed to empower youth in the Arab region and enhance their opportunities for securing a brighter future.
ESCWA originally launched Josour during the First Arab Forum for Equality in 2022. The initiative aims to engage the private sector in creating opportunities for young people seeking employment or skills development, aligning with the future workforce's needs.
