In support of national efforts to develop more inclusive and equitable policies aimed at reducing multidimensional inequalities, ESCWA, in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, organized the first national consultative workshop for members of the National Working Group on Equality.
The workshop, held on 23 and 24 July, brought together policymakers, government officials, and national experts involved in the design and implementation of national plans, policies, and programmes. Discussions focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of the concept of equality and the process of designing inclusive development policies.
Participants also exchanged experiences and reviewed key requirements for achieving effective and sustainable equality.
