On 16 and 17 April, ESCWA, in collaboration with the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub, FAO-RNE, and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), organized the third preparatory meeting on food systems in the Arab region.
The meeting featured presentations and discussions among national food systems coordinators on the progress made in transforming food systems, lessons learned, and remaining challenges.
The meeting resulted in key messages that will contribute to preparations for the second United Nations Food Systems Summit Stocktaking Moment (UNFSS+4) scheduled to be held in Addis Ababa next July.
