ESCWA conducted two workshops for government officials in Nouadhibou, Mauritania between 23 and 28 June.
The first one tackled ways to use the ESCWA social justice policy gap assessment tool while adopting a national social protection strategy, and involved relevant officials.
In the second one, representatives of local authorities involved in devising development plans and programmes were presented with a toolkit for mainstreaming social justice in development policies.
