To support Arab countries in developing national policies and laws to enhance women's economic, social, and political status, ESCWA held a workshop on the use of the "Indices Simulator Tool for Policymakers in the Arab Region (ISPAR)".
The workshop on 17 and 18 May introduced participants to the ISPAR tool developed by ESCWA, to identify strengths and weaknesses in achieving gender equality and women's empowerment at the national level.
Participants also learned how to use the tool to change a country's ranking on global gender inequality indices.
