Energy transitions cannot wait for certainty.
The Fifteenth International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development convenes policymakers, energy experts, private-sector representatives, United Nations entities and international organizations together to turn today’s supply and price volatility, geopolitical shifts and rapid technological change into momentum for action.
Under the theme “Energy Transition in an Uncertain World: Driving Security, Growth and Resilience”, it spotlights energy security and efficiency, renewable energy, digitalization, regional connectivity, critical minerals, electric mobility and resilient energy planning. High-level plenaries, workshops, side events and a field visit enable participants to share practical solutions for affordable, secure and resilient energy systems. The Forum helps member States align energy transitions with climate action, economic growth and inclusive development.
Jointly organized by the five United Nations regional commissions, the Forum strengthens national capacity, sets policy and cooperation priorities, and guides sustainable energy investment.
