ESCWA and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), with support from the Government of Sweden, are organizing a series of dialogues on fostering interregional collaboration on sand and dust storms.
This first dialogue, entitled “Fostering Interregional Collaboration on Sand and Dust Storms: deepening understanding” brings together senior officials from ESCWA and ESCAP member States in Western Asia. It aims to foster knowledge sharing and deepen understanding of national and regional priorities related to sand and dust storms in Western Asia, as well as identify possible areas for transboundary collaboration.
