As the Arab region looks beyond 2030, the priority is not simply to mobilize more finance, but to finance what matters. This regional workshop convenes policymakers, development finance institutions, the United Nations development system, and experts to identify emerging financing needs and solutions. Discussions focus on expanding fiscal space, mobilizing investment, improving financing effectiveness, and translating resources into measurable development results. The workshop advances regional priorities in the post-Seville Financing for Development agenda and supports the UN80 Regional Reset through coordinated multilateral action. Participants help shape a forward-looking agenda for resilient, inclusive, and sustainable development ahead of the 2027 High-Level Dialogue on Financing for Development and the anticipated Fifth International Conference in 2029.
