The National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), in collaboration with ESCWA, is convening a two-day technical workshop in support of Egypt efforts to review and update the National Disability Strategy (2022–2030), in line with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the national development priorities.
The event focuses on strengthening the analytical and institutional foundations required to revise the strategy, including assessing progress to date, aligning with international good practices and enhancing inter-ministerial coordination.
It brings together representatives from relevant ministries, national partners, and the NCPD to advance a unified national vision for disability inclusion in Egypt.
