With the aim of accelerating the shift towards sustainable finance and enhancing the role of banks in supporting the green economy, the Association of Banks in Jordan (ABJ), in partnership with ESCWA, organized the third edition of the Green Finance Forum (GREEFIN) under the theme “Green and Sustainable Finance: From Vision to Design”.
This year’s edition, held in Amman on 9 September, focused on how Jordanian banks can design and deploy green financial products tailored to real market needs, while aligning with international sustainability standards and national priorities.
The forum also highlighted practical tools, actionable strategies, and innovative financing mechanisms to address the challenge of climate change and support the transition towards a green economy.
