Building on the findings of the Arab Sustainable Development Report 2020 (ASDR), and as part of a series of online dialogues, ESCWA and the UN Global Compact organized on 26 October a webinar titled “The Private Sector and the Arab Region's Path to Sustainable Development”.
The webinar aimed at strengthening the engagement of the private sector across the region in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, by introducing the private sector to the ASDR and the UN Global Compact Progress Report.
Participants also discussed the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of the Global Goals across the region.
