Data Exchange using the ESCWA SDMX Converter for SDGs: A Handbook

This handbook provides a step-by-step guide on using the ESCWA SDMX Converter for SDGs to streamline the conversion, validation and exchange of SDG data in SDMX-compatible formats. By adopting SDMX, national statistical offices can improve the collection, validation and dissemination of high-quality, comparable SDG indicators data on their national reporting platforms hosted on the Arab SDG Monitor.
The handbook introduces key SDMX concepts, offers practical guidance on data entry and validation using the ESCWA SDMX Excel Template, and includes troubleshooting tips and best practices. It also provides recommendations and additional resources to support accurate and interoperable SDG data reporting.
