Certifier of cause of death
Definition:

Is a person authorised by law (the physician who attended the deceased in his/her last illness; or the coroner for deaths of persons who were not attended during the last illness by a physician, or for unnatural deaths due to violence or accident) who issues a certificate, on the prescribed form, stating to the best of his/her knowledge and belief, the cause of death and other facts related to the event for submission to the local registrar.
