Definition:

State of land in which the subsoil water table is located at or near the surface. In other words, access water is accumulated in the root zone of the soil. If the land is cultivated this results in a reduced yield of crops commonly grown.; State of land in which the water table is located at or near the surface resulting in yield of crops decline.
