Term:
Product
Definition:

Products are goods and services (including knowledge-capturing products) that result from a process of production. They are exchanged and used for various purposes: as inputs in the production of other goods and services, as final consumption or for investment. The SNA makes a conceptual distinction between market, own final use and nonmarket goods and services, allowing in principle any kind of good or service to be any of these three types.
