Project Preparation Facility (PPF)
Definition:

Established by the Bank in December 1975, it helps ill the gaps in the existing system (e.g. piggyback financing, additional preparatory work necessary because the Bank has been unable to fully participate in the supervision of the preparatory work, other limitations in project preparation) by providing funds for small tasks.
