Prospectus
Definition:

A document containing all the pertinent information about a public offering of securities and about the borrower. It is made available to the appropriate legal authorities, stock exchanges, and the prospective investors by the lead manager. The French term prospectus is used in normal parlance; however, the term document is used in the legal instrument regulating the system (Ordinance No. 67-833 of September 28, 1967, Article 6). Also called offering memorandum.
