Replacement level fertility
Definition:

The total fertility rate at which women would have only enough children to replace themselves and their partner. According to this definition, the level of substitution equals the net reproductive rate of one true value and the total fertility rate is also used to denote fertility at the level of substitution. In more advanced countries such as the United States, the total fertility rate of 2.1 is the average at the replacement level.
