| جهاز استبعاد السلاحف | هو باب فخ مثبّت في شباك الجر المستخدمة في مصايد الروبيان، ويسمح بخروج السلاحف العالقة دون الإضرار بفعالية بالشبكة. يتكوّن هذا الجهاز من قضبان وفتحات في أعلى شبكة الجر أو في أسفلها. وتُركّب الشبكة في عنق شباك الجر الخاصة بالاربيان. وتمرّ الحيوانات الصغيرة مثل الروبيان عبر القضبان ويتم صيدها في نهاية كيس الشباك. عند دخول الحيوانات الكبيرة، مثل السلاحف البحريّة وأسماك القرش في شباك الجر، فإنها تصطدم بقضبان الشبكة ويتم إخراجها من خلال الفتحة. لم تسمح التصاميم الأولية لهذا الجهاز بخروج السلاحف الضخمة والسلاحف ذات القشرة الصلبة، وقد أعيد تصميم فتحات الجهاز لمعالجة هذه المشكلة.

Trapdoor installed into trawl nets used by shrimp fisheries, allowing turtles caught in the net to escape easily without impairing the performance of the net.It consists of a grid of bars with an opening either at the top or the bottom of the trawl net. The grid is fitted into the neck of a shrimp trawl. Small animals such as shrimp pass through the bars and are caught in the bag end of the trawl. When larger animals, such as marine turtles and sharks are captured in the trawl they strike the grid bars and are ejected through the opening. Initial TED designs did not allow for the release of larger leatherback and hardshell turtles and TED openings were later redesigned to address this problem.

An exchange rate regime which normally insulates a country from the balance of payments effects of capital flows while it maintains a stable exchange rate for current account transactions. Capital transactions are normally required to pass through a "financial" market while current transactions go through an "official" market, though other arrangements are possible. Examples are found in Belgium and the United Kingdom, though France and Italy have experimented with such systems.

Goods in transport may be classified according to the UNECE – Codes for types of cargo, packages and packaging materials, Recommendation 21, Geneva March 1986. The cargo classes are: Liquid bulk; Solid bulk; Large freight container; Other freight container; Palletised goods; Pre-slung goods; Mobile, self-propelled units; Other mobile units; and Other cargo types.
