The meeting introduces the guidebook prepared by ESCWA on the safe and effective use of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) in Arab public institutions, gathers feedback to refine it, and identifies next steps for collaboration.
Designed for policymakers, decision makers, and digital transformation and AI managers, the guidebook provides a practical roadmap from design and development to deployment and follow-up. It integrates governance principles throughout the AI agent lifecycle: alignment, control, visibility and transparency, security and robustness, and accountability.
The guidebook also presents use cases and their complexity levels, models for coordinating multiple AI agents, on-premises and cloud hosting options, and levels of human intervention.
