ESCWA is participating in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) annual Global Competition Forum, which brings together over 100 competition authorities and experts. This year’s forum covers topics like digital transformation, artificial intelligence, healthcare sector challenges, informal markets, and global policy trends.
ESCWA, collaborating with OECD and UNCTAD, hosts a side event for Arab competition authorities to review initiatives since the last Arab Competition Forum, share recommendations, and discuss plans leading up to the 7th Forum to be held in May 2026, in the United Arab Emirates. The session highlights the ongoing work of ESCWA and allows national authorities to present updates, challenges and ideas.
