ESCWA, in cooperation with the National Committee for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait, is organizing a workshop to support the development of an institutional action plan for mainstreaming disability inclusion in the Public Authority for Disability Affairs. The workshop applies the ESCWA Tool for Mainstreaming Disability Inclusion in Government Institutions and aims to strengthen the capacity of members of the National Committee for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to implement the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and prepare monitoring reports.
The workshop builds on the first workshop, held on 1-2 October 2025, which focuses on launching and piloting the ESCWA Tool for Mainstreaming Disability Inclusion in Government Institutions.
