This workshop builds on the joint work betweenESCWA, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) in Djibouti and its Statistics Bureau (Institut National de la Statistique et de la Démographie).
It intends to raise the awareness of the directors in the MEF and the Ministry of Social Affairs on the usefulness of the national Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) for planning, monitoring, and informing poverty reduction policies.
