To support Arab States in improving their voluntary national reviews (VNRs), and as part of a series of regional VNR workshops, ESCWA, the League of Arab States (LAS), and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA) organized the 13th workshop on VNRs for the Arab region.
The workshop, held virtually on 21 and 22 April, convened Arab national focal points to exchange best practices and strategies for enhancing the policy impact of VNRs through 2030.
The event featured insights from the 2026 VNR countries, focusing on how the VNR process has evolved over the past decade to become a tool for integrated SDG policy planning, implementation, and assessment.
