ESCWA, the National Convenor for Food Systems Transformation in the Sudan, the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture in the Sudan, and the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub, are organizing a national workshop on “Advancing coherent climate and food systems action”, which is the first in a series of three national capacity-building workshops planned under the project “Bridging the Climate-Food Nexus: Coherent Climate Action and Food System Transformation for Resilient Arab LDCs” during 2026.
The workshop in the Sudan focuses on strengthening national capacities, fostering cross-sectoral coordination, and supporting the Sudan in advancing coherent climate and food systems action throughout the project’s implementation period.
