The Arab SMEs Summit 2026 is a major regional platform advancing the growth and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Organized ESCWA, this edition is held in partnership with the Ministry of Planning of Iraq. It brings together policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, development partners and business support organizations from across the Arab region to shape practical responses to the sector’s most pressing challenges.
Held under the theme “Accelerating Growth and Entrepreneurial Success”, the Summit places SMEs at the centre of sustainable economic development. It highlights scalable solutions, investment opportunities and regional partnerships that can strengthen resilience, expand market access and enable enterprises to compete more effectively in regional and global markets.
