Building on the momentum of the United Nations Food Systems Summit +4 Stocktake (UNFSS+4), the fourth Arab Food Systems Transformation meeting brings together national food systems convenors, policymakers, United Nations agencies, regional organizations, financial institutions, civil society, young people, and other partners to accelerate progress towards food systems transformation.
The meeting explores how to translate commitments into concrete action by mobilizing investment and financing, strengthening coordination around national pathways, and aligning efforts with the SDGs and climate priorities. It seeks to reinforce regional cooperation and peer learning to scale up impact across the Arab region. The meeting also provides a platform to share post-UNFSS+4 updates, review lessons learned, align support from the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub and partners, and identify opportunities to scale practical solutions and financing mechanisms across the region towards 2030.
